About Ben
I’m Ben, the pilot behind Piran Aerials. Based in Newquay, I’m a CAA-registered, A2 CofC certified drone operator with a degree in Digital Media and over two years of flight experience, including 200+ hours capturing Cornwall’s coastline, landscapes, and built environment. Piran Aerials is how I’m turning that into a professional service: aerial imaging, roof surveys, construction photography, and property media across Cornwall and Devon.

The Work
I’ve spent hundreds of hours flying Cornwall’s beaches, cliffs, harbours, and headlands. Building my eye for composition, light, and movement from the air. You can see some of that work on my YouTube channel, Wandering Cornwall & Beyond. Piran Aerials takes those same skills and applies them to practical, commercial projects: roof surveys, construction site documentation, and property marketing for homeowners, agents, and contractors.
Piran Aerials is a new commercial operation. I don’t have years of corporate contracts behind me, but I do have the qualifications, the equipment, the insurance, and a genuine obsession with getting great results from the air. I keep my prices fair for a new business, I’ll always be straight with you about what a job involves, and I’ll treat every shoot with the same care I put into my own work.
